We, Bob and Bonnie Tompkins, serve God in Rio Bravo, Mexico. Since May 1998, we have let Christ shine through us by holding English class, repairing homes, building and supplying God's Store (La Tienda de Dios), building new homes, feeding the hungry, shoes on the shoeless, sending children to school, and spreading the Gospel. God has used all of this service to spread hope throughout the colonia. He has used us and others to soften the people's hearts to accept His message and give Him all the glory.
Statement of Faith:
We believe in God the Father, maker of heaven and Earth. We believe that Jesus, God’s Son, died for our sins. To receive eternal life you must repent and follow Him. This is accepting Christ as your Savior.
We believe that as Christians the Holy Spirit continually works in our lives showing us the way. We also believe that the Bible is God’s Word and is necessary for direction in our lives. Prayer keeps our relationship alive in Christ.
